Visual Wizard

I am a self-made photographer & director based in Belgium. My mission is to create images, still or moving, that stir the emotions and make powerful connections with your audience. My background is in digital communication, so I know that content is king and I know how to make it rock.

My style is simple, bold, direct and efficient. I like to think that there is something cinematographic in my work too. While I love to support the local music industry, I dream being involved in international musical projects.

Let's make the magic happen.

I would rather die of passion than of boredom.
— Vincent van Gogh.

The photographers that inspired me:

If you want to understand who I’m as music & portraits photographer, it’s important to see who influenced me. By the way it’s an amazing way to discover great professionals photographers! I hope you could feel the link between those inspirations and my own work.

Joey L.

Joey L. is one of the best portrait photographer on earth today (according to me). When I saw his work for the first time I completely fall in love with portrait photography with remote strobes. Joey started his career as music photographer when he was really young and he is now working for major brands and personalities. He really has a unique style that has an humongous impact on my own path to find my own style.

In addition to the inspiration I got from him he contributed a lot to my self development as photographer. I followed all his online trainings about lighting & photo editing.

Zack Arias

Zack Arias is also know as an huge contributor to the “strobist” community. He offered many online training on how to use deported flashes, guide the model but also about photographic gears and business. After watching so many videos from him, reading his book and assist to some of his conferences, I consider Zack Arias as a mentor. Even if Zack has no clue of who am I…

Paul Harries

Paul Harries is an english photographer mostly know for his work in the music industry. Especially with louds bands: Nirvana, Muse, Green Day, Slipknot, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182,  … Do I need to explain you more why his work was an influence on mine? Paul is also not stingy on Social Media and we could get interesting private conversations about my work and how to improve it.

Ross Halfin

Name a big band from 80’s to late 90’s. Ross Halfin has photographed them! Mostly know for his live photography work, Ross could also met most of our heroes on tour and bring authentic backstage portraits. I really love his contrasty black and white style for concert photography. This is not what magazines want usually so I keep this inspiration for personal publications. Fun fact: I shared the photo-pit with Ross Halfin during a Judas Priest show. I don’t know if I was more excited by this or the band on stage?
